From June until the end of November the capacity of the processing plant is 7000-8000 tonnes of raw material.

Depending on orders, we are able to produce between 15 and 17 million tonnes of canned food. The technical background of the processing plant is sufficient for the production of canned food. The plant primarily deals with the production of various canned food and pickles, but we are able to cater for individual orders or special demands as well.

Due to the size of the plant, we are able to change our production plans quickly, and hence are able to serve any special requests of our customers.

The sales coverage of our canned food plant includes Germany, Holland, Russia, The Baltic States, Kazakhstan, Poland, Slovakia, Romania, Southern Slavic States, as well as the Hungarian Domestic Market. It is notable that on the domestic market, we provide products for every major chain. Thus, our turnover consists of 50% domestic sales and 50% export sales.

At the time of setting up our processing plant, the company established the name 'Mátra Konzerv' to be used for all our products. This is registered for the long term. According to demand, the canned food products can be produced to diabetic specifications also. The contents of our products are particularly important, and focus on those most enjoyed by the mass market.

The pickled products are also produced using the finest ingredients and flavours. The canned food production plant obtained the ISO 9001:2000 as well as the HACCP quality control certificate in 2003. Along with this we have introduced the IFS quality control system.

We produce our products in sizes of 720ml or 4250ml, but for particular demands we are able to produce in sizes of 370ml, 580ml, 1700ml, or 2650ml for both preserved and pickled products.

On a commercial basis we also deal in canned sweet-corn, canned peas, peas in a jar, as well as green beans.
