Csépány and Co Ltd. was established on January 17, 1993, and it still owned
by the original 3 owners to this day.

The company originally only dealt with the sale and export of fresh fruits and vegetables.
However, in 1994 we built and developed the processing unit.

The company itself is located in North-East Hungary in the Mátra Mountains, in an industrial area of Gyöngyös.

The buildings, infrastructure and offices make up a 7.7 hectare area. On the site, the production is served by a 1,100 tonne refrigerated warehouse which is directly connected to the production machinery, the warehouse, and the Canned Food Production facility. On the facility, there are 3 industrial railway lines and 50% of the entire area is tarmacked.

The fresh fruits and vegetables are provided by farms throughout the country including not just Private Farmers, but State Farms, Limited Companies and Private Fruit Distributors.

20-30% of the exported fresh fruits and vegetables - in varying sizes and forms - go to the general food market. 70-80% goes to Canned Food producers and other various industrial producers. The primary export markets are West Europe, Czech Republic, Slovakia, and Russia.
